I would like for this to be a place to come and to feel good about yourself, as well as a place for me to express my joy in living as well as to occasionally express my own personal frustrations and growing pains - One thing is certain, you'll always know where I stand, and I'll do my best to be congruent and honest with my personal beliefs and feelings - If I am following my own best advice I'll tell you, and if I'm having a difficult time doing just that, I'll let you know that too - I don't pretend to be perfect, but I do try every day to be a little bit better than I was the day before! I try to follow this philosophy:
"Man is the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes." Gandhi got it right and I live my life by this premise. We create our misery and our joy by what we think. It is absolutely possible to be "Happy for No Reason" no matter what is happening in our life. It is simply a matter of how we think about it. What is, is. We often can't change it. If we stay in the moment and avoid the past and the future we have the greatest opportunity to create a life filled with joy, love, hope, and kindness - just because!
This philosophy is a large part of my practice and how I live in the world. I choose to only have positive thoughts, and it's not all that difficult. In this moment I have everything I need and so do you, and happiness can only be experienced when you stay in the moment!
Having said all that, please join me as I live my life with its ups and downs, ins and outs, struggles and accomplishments - my very real life, where more often than not, I am able to live in the moment with gratitude in my heart and practice divine grace - but still all too often, I'll fall back into that place of fear and hurt and aloneness that we all struggle daily to rise out of.
